This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through katietellsstories.com (the "Site"), operated by Katie Fetting. Please read it carefully before completing a purchase. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

At a Glance: Physical items may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping. All sales of digital items are final – no refunds or exchanges.

1. Physical Items – Returns & Refunds

Eligibility

Physical items purchased through the Site may be returned for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the following conditions are met:

–      The item is in its original, unused condition

–      The item is returned in its original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging)

–      A valid proof of purchase is included with the return

Refund Amount

Approved refunds will be issued for the original purchase price of the item(s) only. Shipping and handling charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on my part or a defective item (see Section 3).

How to Initiate a Return

To begin a return, please contact me at katielfetting@gmail.com within 30 days of your delivery date. Include the following in your message:

–      Your full name and order number

–      The item(s) you wish to return

–      The reason for the return

I will respond within 3–5 business days with return instructions. Please do not ship items back without first receiving a return authorization, as unauthorized returns may not be processed.

Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and inspected, I will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

2. Digital Items – No Refunds

All sales of digital items are final. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued for digital purchases under any circumstances.

Digital items include, but are not limited to:

–      Downloadable files (PDFs, scripts, e-books, graphic novel chapters, or similar)

–      Digital licenses or access codes

–      Any other electronically delivered content

Because digital items are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," all such sales are final at the time of purchase. Please review all product descriptions carefully before completing a digital purchase. If you have questions about a digital item prior to purchase, contact me at katielfetting@gmail.com.

3. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a physical item that is defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from what was described, please contact me within 14 days of delivery at katielfetting@gmail.com with:

–      Your order number and a description of the issue

–      Photographs of the item and packaging, where applicable

In such cases, I will cover the cost of return shipping and will offer either a replacement (subject to availability) or a full refund of the purchase price including original shipping charges, at your election.

4. Exchanges

I do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase (subject to the eligibility requirements in Section 1) and place a new order.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

–      Digital items of any kind (see Section 2)

–      Physical items returned after the 30-day window

–      Items that have been used, altered, or are not in their original condition

–      Items returned without prior authorization

–      Gift cards or store credits

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of approval, please take the following steps before contacting me:

–      Check your bank account or payment method statement

–      Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times can vary

If you have done the above and still have not received your refund, please reach out at katielfetting@gmail.com and I will investigate promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Return & Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your transaction.
